At Harmonizing Chinese Medicine Clinic, we take extra steps to perform the acupuncture treatment best suited for you. Harmony is at the core of what we do. Therefore, with our school of acupuncture, we repeatedly palpate your pulse and insert needles into specific acupuncture points throughout the session until the pulse is balanced and in harmony. When your pulse is balanced, your body is at the optimal state of equilibrium, maximizing the treatment benefit and minimising the chances of side effects, such as vertigo and nausea.

To further increase the accuracy of our diagnosis, we perform visual inspection of your tongue. As the tongue is the microsystem of the body, it is able to indicate the current health conditions that you are facing. Utilising our extensive learning and research into centuries-old traditional Chinese medicine knowledge, we discern the state of your tongue, taking note of its colour, texture, shape, coating, etc in great detail.

With your consent, we take a photo of your tongue at each consultation to keep track of your health progress. We will also endeavour to guide you on how we diagnose your health condition through our observations. As you embark your journey to health with us, you will see the changes in your tongue and correspondingly, you can also feel and monitor your own health progress over time.
